From October 31 to November 2, 2024, representatives of the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryev took part in the annual China International Conference and Exhibition on Education held in Beijing, People's Republic of China. The event included a forum on "Deepening China-Central Asia Cooperation in Medical Education", where Turkmen delegates took part with their speeches. Representatives of Central Asian countries such as Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan also took part in the conference. The issues of the importance of traditional medicine and the use of artificial intelligence in education and healthcare in Asian countries were the most discussed on the sidelines of the forum.
