Another creative meeting of the masters of the «Design Plus» creative team took place in Ashgabat, at the French Institute in Turkmenistan. On Saturdays, in the cafe of the institute, according to the already established good tradition, four of the craftsmen participated in the exhibition of their products.

For the last time, Olga Halatur, Irina Kirillova, Jahan Atayeva and Larisa Fomina presented their new works.

Olga Halatur, a master from Tejen, specializes in the manufacture of brooches, earrings, bracelets, using decorative sequins, rhinestones and glass beads. Her jewellery has various shapes resembling birds, fish, flowers and even dragons. The basis of the products is felt and velvet, on which decorative elements are sewn in turn.

Irina Kirillova began her career with decoupage. She has her own vision and individual creative approach to the decorative decoration of various jars, bottles, pendants and caskets. In her products, she often uses images of angels. A couple of years ago, Irina tried her hand at making cotton Christmas tree toys, and this process fascinated her. At the creative meeting, the craftswoman presented a wide range of her products. Toys and figurines made of cotton wool especially attracted the attention of guests and craftsmen.

Jahan Atayeva presented dolls and souvenirs made in hosiery technique. As the craftswoman noted, most of all she likes to make dolls. And all because each doll gets its own image and character.

Larisa Fomina prepared a series of paintings for the creative meeting of the masters, in which she tried to convey the beauty of nature and the grace of Ahal-Teke horses. Since childhood, being fond of painting, she spends a lot of time at the easel. But painting is not Larisa's only hobby. Especially for the creative meeting of the masters, she prepared a series of molded brooches. It is noteworthy that these products are made from recycled raw materials in the papier-mache technique.

The creative meeting was attended by other craftsmen, puppeteers, and artists. In a warm atmosphere, creative people shared their experiences with each other, gave advice and told interesting stories. The series of creative meetings will be continued by other masters next Saturday.

The head of the «Design Plus» team, Tajigul Kurbanova, is not indifferent to the creativity of talented people.

- Our craftswomen have different attitudes to their work, - she says, some are satisfied with it at the hobby level, while others want to turn a hobby into a business. I am looking for talented people in all the provinces of our country, I give them advice on creative techniques, as well as on creating a business. Communication between each other, which occurs at creative meetings, is of great importance for enthusiastic people.
